Shauna Deschenes

Shauna Deschenes is a first grade teacher at Witchcraft Heights Elementary School where she has been teaching since 2014. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s degree in Reading from Salem State University and is a certified Reading Specialist for students in grades K–12.
Shauna is passionate about working with young learners and creating a classroom community where every child feels supported, valued, and excited to learn. She strives to provide a positive, engaging, and nurturing environment that encourages students to be curious, take risks, and grow as confident learners. She believes in celebrating each child’s unique strengths and supporting all students as they work toward reaching their full potential.
Outside of school, Shauna enjoys spending time with her family and making memories with her two sons. She loves reading, spending time outdoors, and enjoying adventures with her family.
