Welcome Witchcraft Heights Families!
August 21, 2017
Dear WHES Parents/Guardians:
It is with great enthusiasm that I welcome you all to the 2017/2018 school year at Witchcraft Heights Elementary School. I am thrilled to be your new principal, and I know we are going to have a great year together. Some faces may look a bit different, and there may a few tweaks in the system, but one thing that will never change is that WHES is a wonderful place to grow and learn!
Please take a moment to fill in our Family Contact Form: https://goo.gl/forms/8m7ehX2AjiTH9kbF2 with your current contact information. We will be eventually going paperless with our familycommunications this year, and therefore need your updated email addresses and cell phone numbers.
I want to send a warm welcome to all of our students and families who may be new to WHES. I am so happy you will be joining our fine learning community. This year I am excited to welcome several new faces to our WHES staff family. They are as follows:
Sara Calleja - Assistant Principal
Kim Malionik - Secretary
Vivianna Francis - Family Engagement Facilitator
Kristen Burt - 4th Grade Teacher
Robert Conte - 4th Grade Teacher
Elizabeth Rose- 5th Grade Teacher
Emily Consolati - Special Education Inclusion Teacher
Haley DiPeitro - Special Education Inclusion Teacher
Molly Carmody - Kindergarten Co-Taught Special Education Teacher
Kelly Cahill - Librarian
Each school day our doors open at 7:30 for parents who need to drop their children off early. Please note students may not arrive at school before 7:30, as there is no adult supervision until that time. All students must arrive before 8:20.
All homeroom assignments for this school year will be posted on the front doors of the school on Wednesday August 30 after 12:00.
On the 1st day of school your child will come home with a red communication folder. Please check all of the papers carefully and send back any required information. Most importantly, please let us know the dismissal plan for your child. We look forward to seeing you on the first day of school, Thursday, September 7th for grades 1-5 and Monday, September 11th for Kindergarten.
Looking forward to seeing you all on September 7!
